Summer Reading Program

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Wednesday, repeating until July 27, 2022
Summer Reading Program to run June 22-July 27 on Wednesday mornings 10:30am – 11:30am.
For children who will be entering grades 1-6 in the Fall of 2022.
Please register at the library by June 11.
Tentative schedule:
June 22 – Pirates
June 29 – Shark Week
July 6 – Whales
July 13 – Coral Reefs
July 20 – Ocean Day (Japanese Holiday)
July 27 – Lighthouses
Every week there will be reading (of course!) and other activities, games, STEM projects, and arts & crafts. Children can win prizes for the reading they’ve done during the week. For every hour of independent reading, they may choose a small weekly prize. For every 5 hours of reading Pizza Hut is providing certificates for a free personal pan pizza as part of their Book It! Program.
